Guitar Lessons: Availability & Rates

Mary is accepting new students for Guitar Lessons at this time. As a professional musician with a master's degree in education, Mary is in demand as an instructor – particularly for guitar beginners, young adults, and individuals with special needs.

Guitar Lessons with Mary also open doors for guitarists interested in live performances. Mary has coached individuals in performing for auditions and playing at their own wedding or other family events. Included with guitar lessons is a safe and supportive opportunity for guitar students to perform at a Washington, DC open mic that Mary personally hosts each month. Parents, family members, and friends are welcome to attend the open mics as well. Performing is strictly optional, and scheduled according to the desires of each individual guitar student.

Guitar Lessons with Mary are one hour in length, and the current value of each lesson is $60. She is available for Guitar Lessons on Friday and Saturday in the Washington, DC Metro area, and Monday through Thursday in the Marshall, Virginia area. If you prefer to learn at home, Mary will come to you! Travel costs apply; however, if you wish to purchase five (5) or more lessons in advance, this service is provided free. Mary says: " I know times are tough economically: all the more reason to do what we love! Don't let money prohibit you from playing guitar. Group discounts and payment plans can be arranged, so Let's talk."
